Privacy policy

The site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate region and site events, such as a calculator result with the tire sizes compared. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, to find layout problems. Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies.

The tire size, speedometer, gear ratio, offset, bolt pattern and date code calculators run in your browser. The sizes you type can appear in the page address so a result can be shared. The VIN tool sends the VIN you type from your browser to the NHTSA vPIC service, a free public decoder run by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration; NHTSA’s privacy policy applies to that request.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies. The site may store small settings in your browser, such as the unit choice (inches or millimeters); they do not leave your device.

Links to stores go through addresses that start with /go/ on this site, which count the click and send you on to the store. On a store’s site, its own privacy policy applies, and it may use cookies to credit a sale to this site.
